Guys, I did several searches looking for this but came up empty. Excuse my lack of technical skill if this has been posted before.

I put a dent in my rear bumper today and that just gives me an excuse to upgrade. I am looking at the Rough Country and Westin Pro series bumpers. Does anyone have experience with either of these?

What rear bumper would you recommend?

My truck is a 2018 PowerWagon

I think the choice depends on what you want the bumper to do. Armor? Gear storage? Clearance? Aesthetics?

Armor and Aesthetics are the two most important features. I don't get out in the dirt as much as I would like. Here in SoCal the choices are limited more than other locations. I have taken it out to the desert a few times but it's not really set up for sand play.

I really like the looks of the new RAMs like yours. But I'm happy with mine.

I wouldn’t touch anything that says Rough Country with a fifty foot pole.

The quality of their lifts sours me with the integrity of the rest of everything else they make.

They are a budget type company. Compare anything they make to a competitor of theirs...their product will be quite a bit cheaper. And unfortunately, when you go the cheap route, well, thats usually what type of product you get...cheap.

Anybody that buys rough country products should be aware of that. If not, they havnt been around very long.

Rough Country isn't really built for those who want to go off road, they're built for people who want the 'look.' I'm seriously considering their kit for my wife's F150 because she doesn't do any serious offroading with it (maybe drives it around the neighbor's field at most) but we'd both like it to sit higher and have a better stance.

If I were looking to get it into offroading, first I would have bought her a Raptor or a TRX Rebel.
