Since I trailer a car with mine, I keep the trailer ball in one, a few rags/microfiber towels, tie downs for the bed, a small tool kit, and a few other things. I love mine... they were a great idea.

Wow you guys can fit a lot in there. I had no idea. My ram is mostly a dad mobile, so the one has an emergency kid kit (diapers, spare clothes, etc.) The other is empty. But I do have ramboxes, so the one side is full of recovery gear and tiedowns, the other is used for groceries.

But reading the thread, I've come up with a few ideas to put in the cubbys.

I use them for much of the same use as others....but they're especially packed in my 2019. Not sure when they did this, but my 2012 crew cab had a "well" under the rear seats and allowed for much more under-seat storage. Now in the 2019, the seats raise to allow additional flat floor space and have no well. That severely limits what you can store under them without it sliding out. I guess some may like the extra flat space but in a pickup storage is already scarce, so I miss the well and rely more on the bins. I used to keep snacks & water in them but now I have more essential items in there that used to be under the seat.

One reason I kinda want Rambox. My truck is very multi use and I’d love an empty rambox to throw groceries in. Too much stuff under my seat. Always something in the rear seat and that middle cut out is annoying. Dirt on the floor always. Rambox would be handy for sure

Yeah I came to ram from an suv and just couldn't give up the covered storage. But now having owned a truck for a bit, I kinda wish I went without the ramboxes and got a cap instead. I've looked and can't seem to find anyone who makes a truck bed cap that supports ramboxes. All a person would need to do is make a door along the sides to still allow the use of the boxes. I might have to fab something up.

I have my tow strap in one, and jumper cables in the other.
I've swore off jumper cables ever since one of my wife's coworkers used my wife's van to jump tart his car and blew up my wife's alternator. I've got this jump box that I can start anything up to a dual battery diesel with. Got it at battery mart for about $200 otf I remember right. I told her no one, no one uses her vehicle to jump start another one.

Watching the Steeler game and saw this. Had to put pants on and go outside to see them for myself. I bought the truck 2 or 3 weeks ago, I had no idea they were even there! Just another reason to love this truck!

I think that's about it. One of these days I'll do the rear seat spacer mod so I can access behind the back seats & mount two rigid molle panels.

Okay I tried to do a search and couldn't come up with anything. What is the "Rear Seat Spacer Mod" I am missing all that storage I use to have in my Mega Cab

It's an easy mod that when done you can fold down the rear seat back and use the space behind them. Two different ways. One is to raise the rear seats off the floor of the truck using spacers. The other is to cut roughly a 1/2" off the seat back hooks that keep it immobile.

Do a seach for folding rear seats down on the Rams....you'll find it.

Thanks I had done a search but must not have worded it correctly. Went back and tried again and found it and a youtube video about it too. I think I will do the cutting instead of the lift.

I did the cutting method myself and it works great. Can't believe how Ram engineers didn't make it this way from the factory.

A little late to the party, but in the drivers side I keep a rag, gloves, and funnel for DPF. Passenger side I have my AirLift compressor for the rear suspension.

Anyone found a use for them? I was thinking of mounting a "Painless wiring" fuse block in one..
bottle jack to help if I get a flat tire on the trailer. Some hand tools. A few hand towels to clean up afterwards. A portable rear view camera. A few yards of rope. Some bungee cords. In the winter a rolled up blanket.
