Rear folding seat hack

Can we still add a 3/4" strip of wood between the rear seat and the floor to make the back of the back seat flip down. Had this done on my 2011.

What year truck do you have now?

Haven't heard of anyone doing it with 5th gens but it might still be possible.

I cut the bracket nubs off mine, with an air wheel cutter. Took a whopping 10 minutes per seat (I have 60/40 rear). Works like a charm. And they still lock in place with seat full up or down.
