I have a '17 Ram 1500 4WD Crew Cab Bighorn with long box and I recently installed a 2" front Rough Country level and rear Daystar 1" spacer. After driving about 1500 miles the ride is great and feels very similar to factory and not stiff at all which is what I was going for. After the install I have measured the heights on front and rear wheel wells and I ended up at 39.25" front and 39.25" rear and is level. My challenge is I do often load the 4 wheeler and pull a heavier boat trailer I have a negative rake and don't really like that. What does everyone recommend for a 2"-3" rear spacer that have held up well and stay quiet they would recommend?

If you like the level look when unloaded, I recommend air bags.

I am one of the few who prefer the raked look. I will probably order the springs through the manufacturers website since they are cheaper there. Thanks for the responses.

I agree. I have the rear of my truck about 3/4-1” taller at the wheel wells, and have bags for when I tow. Even a dead level Ram (by measuring at the wheel wells) drives me nuts because they look like they are sagging ass.

What surprises me is you said you went with a 2/1 setup, yet your truck is dead level. Seems weird. My ‘17 half ton has like 3” of rake. A 2/1 on mine would still leave me like 2” higher in the back.

I know I should have measured my truck ahead of time and wish I would have to see the exact amounts. My truck to start with was a more level ram than any of my previous rams. I bought it new and just the way it came from the factory. I am sure I got a little over 2" on the front and the rear 1" really don't think it was a full 1". At the end of the day I should have measured before I started and would have known for sure exactly what each item did for lift.

Meh, its somewhat irrelevant...you just know you want the rear higher now lol

Maybe its the longbox that did it. I think those tend to be a bit more level compare to the short box.

I ended up putting the rear springs in with the daystar spacer and ended up at 41.25" on the rear. I really like the springs and stiffened up the ride so much less body roll when I have the 4 wheeler in the bed. Also don't have headlights aiming up at the sky anymore when loaded. Thanks for the recommendation on the springs as this is what I needed.
