rear seat wont go up?

I have the 60 /40 split rear seat and the larger section folds up very easily, the smaller section however only moves about 2 inches and then acts like it hits something. I've looked around a bit and can't see what is stopping it. Any ideas?

hmm not sure. I haven't had any problems with mine yet, bump for ya tho.

Mine does that every once and a while and if I juggle it it goes up

So all you do is wiggle it? I've been hiring the bottom of the seat pretty hard and it doesn't budge. I'll try the wiggle method and hope for the best.

Theres nothing wedged behind the back end, or in the hinges is there?

I'm not sure.I don't see anything there.when I try to raise it I just hear a clunk and the seat stops moving.it's solid , like if I were to stand in the truck and lift up as hard as I can it won't move.I bet it's a hinge locking up.I'll some WD40

That, or feel into the crack where the seat meets the upper body and see of something is wedged back there. I know if I stack stuff behind my sub box it won't go any higher than a few inches.
