Rear suspension ?

This may be a dumb question but I was wondering has anyone tried to convert there 4th gen truck back to a leaf spring setup in the rear on a 2wd truck. Just saw a few things and made me wonder if it can be done well I know anything can be done but I'm saying keeping factory function and form in mind

Curious as to why would you want to? Coils offer a better ride, control/road manners and same or more payload capacity of a leaf???

No real reason

No real reason just curious I'm not saying I'm going to do it, it's just a thought nothing more nothing less. I'm aware of the benefits of a coil rear, i just wanted to see if anyone did it
