Is there any way to reboot the temperature/compass/trip computer display???? Bought a 07 Ram this afternoon - very nice truck. Took it out later and the display crapped out on me. Courtesy lights work - function lights on the computer work - just no display lights. Ideas????

TIA for any help.

PS - hey - at least it wasn't the engine that died on the first day:):):)

have you talked to the seller. Have them give you some background information and/or have them fix it. After all you did just buy it. Good luck...

You can try to reset it by removing either the positive or negative wire on the battery. That should reset everything.

A few months late here, but hopefully worth a shot.

Mine did the same thing today. Half way home from work, wanted to check my MPG's (I know they suck, but wanted to know how badly).

The display crapped out, then the green lights went out. Pulled out a few fuses to check them, all good under the hood. Amazingly, it started working again. But as I was re-installing it, it crapped out again.

How did it get fixed? It is annoying me that I don't have it there.
