REC navigation radio questions...

I have had my truck for a few months now and have been playing around with the navigation system. When i use the REC gps i have noticed it takes unnecessary turns out of the way and not always the most direct. sometimes the street name is not right either.

has anyone had the problem and does buying a new disc for it help any? I am a little hesitant on buying the disc because it is $150 don't want to buy it and it not fix this...

another question is my truck has Uconnect in it... i looked online for the Uconnect website and it shows only new trucks on it... is there a way to update the connect firmware on older trucks?

Depending on how old your disk is it could be the problem.
