Looks like another ABS related issue ....with no fix at this time. So stand by, to stand by as they say

Just got my letter today for this recall 55 too. I was so happy. Starting to think FCA forgot me, how much I love to drive to the dealer for the recalls. Think this will be recall number 6 so far now.

Yes, there is a fix. It's a software update to the brake controller module. I have an appointment to have mine done on Wednesday morning.

Update. Got this done today as planned. Its a software flash. Totally uneventful and I don't notice any difference.

OMG was at the dealer yesterday asking about this and was told no fix yet available

I have an appointment for August 7 to have this done. I am amazed at how casual this is being handled when the recall states, Failure of the ESC system can, in certain driving conditions, cause a vehicle crash without warning. Thanks a lot, Stellantis.

That statement is a CYA on there part due to way too many sue happy people, my self am not at all worried about it learned to drive long before ESC was available on trucks

Would if I could, but the other dealer in the metro area don't want to do warranty work on trucks that were bought at a different dealer.

Technically they can't refuse you but I know what you mean. Like sending your plate back to the restaurant kitchen because it is cold. They just spit on it & put it in the microwave!

If you are trying to find out if your vehicle has a recall, do not rely on the Ram information that your iPhone provides. According to my iPhone, “Great News: There are no recalls necessary for your vehicle.” According to a letter I just received from RAM, my vehicle has a recall because failure of the ESC (electronic stability control) system might cause a crash without prior warning.” I ran my VIN and verified the recall applies to my vehicle. It appears the last time they updated the recall information on my iPhone was November 7, 2023. Apparently, statements on the Ram app that say your app has been updated do not apply to the recall information. According to my recall letter, Dodge sent out the recall letter because of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Act. If it were not for the letter, I would have falsely believed that no recalls were issued from my vehicle. Shortly after I received the recall letter, I called my Dodge dealer and had the problem corrected on the same day. I’m hoping no one has an accident because they trusted the Dodge app.
