Here's my first recall for the truck. My backup camera has gone out once or twice.

This will be recall #6 if this affects my 2500. So far my back up camera has been fine?

I keep a piece of electrical tape over mine anyway as it's irritating coming on even when I have the system turned off. Probably should pull the tape just to see if it still works.

I'm not sure about the DF and DJ but the recall includes chassis cab trucks as well. Maybe that's their classification.

Recall looks like it is for R1-low radios only (8.4” non-navigation radios) on software version 141.01.
145.00 or higher is the fix.
160.21 has been out for about a year now, so this is most likely going to affect mostly 2022 owners who have “connected services delete” on their build sheet due to parts shortages.

I don't have "connected services delete" on mine. I got everything on the window sticker.

I did a test drive in a truck with the 12 inch screen and after the drive was over I decide to not buy any truck with one, to many of the things that normally have a switch were moved in to that 12 computer in the center of the dash and when it goes out to bad so sad, like your heated seats don't work or steering wheel heat along with many other things and the more I read the happier I am I did not get a truck with one...

This recall doesn’t involve 12” radios anyway.
The heated seats and wheel are the ONLY features that don’t have physical switches compared to the other radios, but their soft keys are always in the top corners for easy access. All the other hvac controls that are on the smaller radios still have all the physical switches on both sides of the 12” screen.
Also, the 2022+ 8.4” nav radios use the exact same radio module and software as the 12” radios, so they would be subject to the same software glitches as the 12” radio version.
