I'm sure it's for all countries, but the U.S. is all I see right now.

It's worth checking the VIN to see if it needs the work.

Does DANA make the rear ends or is it a ZF? I was thinking it's DANA.

I thought they already had one out for up to like 2010 or 2011 on this? Either way, good to see they finally did if not. I can think of about three or four people who've had this problem as well.

Yea, this happened to me. Luckily I got of the freeway just before it locked up. Broke the driveshaft right off. I had to get towed. Sad thing is that I was on the way to the dealership to get a noise in the rear looked at. It was very dangerous. I suggest anybody at risk run their Vin number and if you're included get it fixed ASAP!

They paid for the repairs, but I has to cover 9 days of rental car. Well they decided to help and pay for 3 days. Still I felt they should have paid for the rental since it was a recall and left me stranded. I had to get my own tow too. Not too happy with those details.

Mines a 2011 and in the build period, but according to my VIN it says no recall. I wonder if it was only certain rear ends? I don't have the limited slip

right now, the vin checker says my 2012 ain't on the list

(I do have the limited slip, but also have a 3.92 gear)

It's less that 280,000 vehicles over 4 years... Chances are most of you won't see any recall IMO.

Also, the way I understood the article, Dodge has officially made the recall. The article said they would send notifications in March. I think the one that came out in October was 09-10 so if you one of those I'd say you're good. For us 11-12 guys, I'd say keep checking periodically through March just to be safe.
