Go to any other car discussion site: Mustang forums, Hyundai, Mazda, Chevy, ect... You will find a sub-forum just like this one called ‘other vehicle discussions’. Bet you’ll never guess what they talk about there....

Back on topic: If not motorcycle; I’d recommend something small and light, stick shift, high strung and fun. Think BRZ, Miata, type R.
Got it but I have zero reason to go to another site so I'll take your word for it.

Someone on here is looking into the Chrysler 300's and I'm not sure about the future of that line, but the 200's are fairly decent too and used ones are fairly low priced.

I'll be looking for a 2nd vehicle soon as well, but I'm probably just gonna buy my daughters Civic.
I can't comfortably drive a civic. At least not the newer ones. Not enough headroom so I have to have the seat tilted too far back for me. Same with my sisters mazda3, but a buddy has a new Mazda3 in a higher trim with power seats that drop lower than the base ones and I find it fits me fine so maybe the same is true for a civic. Definitely try before you buy if you're a bigger guy.

The 300S is a very nice car and it scoots! I had one for a loaner for a few days while my first Ram was worked on and it was comfortable, had plenty of power, and enough space to fit me (6'2) and others in it at the same time.

My work 2017 Ford Explorer is a great :"Cruiser" haha ;)
I tend to disagree with the great part...I find them fairly uncomfortable with confused transmissions (NA, we don't have the turbos). We just got three brand new Explorers and they're worse; loud interior noise, worse seats, and the interior layout has the stereo screen in an awkward position. Drivetrain is very noisy.

The 2020 has terrible noise problem everyone complains. Im in the model before with the 3.5 and she runs great nice and quiet.

We have about 300 on the road

Some times I have to go back to the title of this site to make sure I'm on the right one. Can't quite understand recommending an X brand vehicle on a RAM site. I know it's America and freedom of choice but I can't imagine the backlash I would get going to "ANY" X brand site and recommending a Mopar product! What am I missing?

Your missing people wanting to help people !!! and it is not Taboo to talk about other brand Trucks/Cars
IMO who gives a Rat's Ass what brand sight were on !
We love our trucks and cars and most people here go out of their way to help each other by offering their 2 cents !
Most of us have more then the RAM to drive or family members who do not drive a RAM :O
We just like to help each other.

I agree, the ones with the front end that looks like an electric razor screen are much better than the 2020- far quieter and smoother- maybe it's because they have a few miles on them ;) . I'm also in a previous model and I couldn't believe the noise level on the brand new deliveries we got.

Not here to argue but the title "RAM" forum made me think otherwise. Guess I took it wrong. You have a good day and stay safe too.

Maybe you guys can help me choose a car as I'd like to start putting less miles on my Ram.

Here's my requirements;

-Maximum price $25k..ish...i'd pony up a little more coin for the right car
-used with relatively low miles
-must be ultra-reliable (will be putting on about 20k per year)
-Must be big and comfortable
-some decent power...i'm not too concerned with gas mileage
-AWD would be a bonus, but not a necessity

Anyone got any ideas for me?

Well if I’m spending your money, C8 corvette

In all seriousness, I would personally hate driving the typical car or SUV even just as a DD beater. To me, they’re all quite ugly, bland, and have no sense of style or anything that sets them apart from all the other soccer mom cars and econoboxes. Not exactly my taste

Not trying to be a dodge fanboy, but I do like the look of chargers with the SRT appearance package. If I was looking for a 4-door car, I’d probably get a charger GT. Of course, if you drop a lot of extra coin you could just get an SRT instead and enjoy the smiles per gallon

Whatever you decide on, good luck

Any opinions on the newer ford fusions? The depreciation on these things is unbelievable...makes me wonder if they are crap?

you can find 2019's and 2020's (fully loaded titanium) with 10k miles for less than $20k...the sticker on these new is mid-high 30's.

Something tells me theres a reason these cars depreciated so quickly.

Prior to my RAM I had a 2018 Fusion. I only had two complaints; 1) underpowered - I had the 1.5 EcoBoost. Great gas milage - poor acceleration.
2) Front wheel drive - I brought it with me when I moved back north above the snow belt. This car was horrible in the snow. Got stuck twice my first drive in 4". That is how I ended up in the RAM.

For what its worth, and I know it's already been mentioned previously but my lovely wife now drives a 2019 Lincoln MKZ AWD with the 3.0 Twin Turbo. Holy Smokes Batman, this is the car I wanted my Fusion to be.... Some days she even lets me drive it

I tried one out as a loaner and it drove and road nice, mpg were around 30. But after having trouble with 2 ford focuses I decided to go with a Camry SE which is the same size and did not quite ride as smooth but is more fun to drive and gets better MPG.
