Recommendation Wanted: Please suggest a Class 5 towing receiver & hitch (for a 2022 RAM 2500 Laramie/HEMI)

2 inch opening is Class IV

2.5 inch opening is Class V

This. Your 2500 should already have a class 5 hitch like mine came from the factory with 2.5" receiver

I don't wish to be rude here but I have to ask are you sure it's a "2500"? I only ask because the 1500 has the 2 inch hitch.

Looking at Ram.com the standard equipment 2500 2022 hitch is a Class V even on the Tradesman.

Read his other post. He claims the dealership changed it out.

I would be having them fix this...or suing for lowering the capabilities of the truck.

If this is true...this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of a dealership doing.
