** SOLVED **

2014 RAM1500 2WD

I installed RC 2.5" level (springs) almost a year ago. Everything was normal except a rough/stiff front end and some bump steer on uneven roads.

A few days ago, I had a local shop install RC 4" lift (stock springs, front spindles, rear spacers, 4 new shocks). I like the look and driving down uneven roads seems more stable, but the turning radius is now quite reduced!

Do all "spindle" lifts suffer from reduced turning radius? Can the local shop do anything about it?

i just installed the same kit and noticed this as well and it’s really annoying.

The ride to me seems very sloppy especially with quick wheel movements. Almost dips. Is your ride stiffer?

Hmm I don't notice it being "very sloppy". I like the ride much better than just front level springs. After a few weeks I'm almost adjusted to making a bit wider u-turns and navigating parking lots.

Mystery solved by taking an angle grinder to the back side of the new lift spindles. Was easily able to get 45 degrees more rotation on the steering wheel in each direction!
