I've run into the P2459 in my 2023 Ram 2500 Cummins. Reading past threads, I fit within that category of folks that uses their truck for short and long drives. Some hauling, but most of the time my trips are relatively shorter (20 miles or so) with a bunch of stop and go in between.
So this thread is to pose the question for those of us that use the truck as a "grocery getter" a lot of the time, but also less often drive them when hauling toys, campers or other tasks for longer distances and under more loaded conditions.
Is there a fuel or other additive that has been proven to reduce soot build ups and reduce the chances of the P2459 from occurring?
Otherwise, I'll just have to regularly schedule some longer drives to visit breweries that are further away to get some more highway runs and more regens to happen
