Anybody have a Gen 4 Ram 1500, Regular Cab, 8ft Bed with the N - Fab wheel-to-wheel
steps?
They show pictures of a Ford and Chevy on their site, but these steps are also available for Ram.
Ford picture shown below--red marks are where I guessed the brackets would mount to truck.
These steps show mounting with only 2 brackets, and the rear portion with
the bed access step is not attached to truck anywhere.
It would be nice to have the bed access steps on both sides,
but only 2 brackets for that long step bar seems like not enough support.
I have a 2022 Ram Classic on order, so don't know how far apart the
bracket mounting is and how much of the step is unsupported on a Ram.
Trying to plan out what steps to buy for when the truck is built.
This seems like a good option compared to shorter running boards
and the fold-away bed access steps that mount in front of the cab--those
fold-aways are kind of expensive.
If anybody has these on Ram 1500 -> Reg Cab -> 8ft bed, can you give
comments. Are they strong enough, did you have to rig up a bracket
near the rear step? Or other ideas for side steps + bed access?
Thanks all.
