I have no idea. It was just a wild ass guess on my part based on Russel at Sound German calling it the "autosticK".

When I mentioned to him how much i like the shifter in the 22 Durango R/T, he said quote: " Oh, Yea, That's the autostick I can flash the truck version of the 8hp70 to work with it".

I just assumed that it was the same thing i remembered seeing in AlfaOBD. Maybe it isn't.
I'm pretty sure the 5 position autostick is for the cars Nag1,as it's a 5 speed

Edit: Yea, looks like ya gotta have Sound German to flash the TCM to let the Charger shifter work in the truck transmission. A couple guys on the forum have done it.

There's quite a few 8 speed swapped trucks running around now using the Challenger/Charger or Jeep shifters, how many of them have the autostick enabled i'm not sure but i know Russell has been able to enable the autostick feature for quite awhile now. That's if you use the console shifter when swapping the RFE for the 8 speed.I think he can enable it on a factory 8 speed truck now,if you convert from the dial shifter to the car/jeep console shifter. He supposedly can make the 1320's factory transmission brake work,if you swap to the 8 speeds TCM from a 1320 Challenger.Although i don't know why you'd want Ma Mopars version of a transmission brake,as it's basically more gimic then function. All i ever did was put the wifes 1320 into limp mode when i used the transmission brake,as my foot was faster then the brakes drop out was, lol. You actually had to wait for the brake to release and the car started to move before going to the floor with the skinny pedal.I don't know of any 1320 or 2018 Demon owner who actually used the tranny brake with any success if they were bracket racing.
There's way better options in the aftermarket now if you want a transmission brake, the aftermarket has even come up with a way to delete the torque convertor on the 8 speed, and use transmission programming to launch the vehicle

Ken there's a couple really good facebook pages on the 8 speed now.The guys across the pond are coming up with some really wicked things for the 8 speeds now,as they're way farther ahead on it's development then we are over here.
This is only 1 facebook page, but alot of the guys developing new 8 speed products are on it.
That facebook link you shared is to Rick Tapps page,he's pretty big in the fuel pump upgrade world for Mopar products

Gotta say i loved the paddle shifters on my old 14's 8 speed, they were one of the better things i did to the truck 10 years ago. They were more precise then the buttons on the wheel, pull either one once and it shifted,no stabbing at the little button on the wheel several times hoping it shifted,i also liked them better then the tiptronic paddles in the wifes last 2 Challengers and our 300
I hate those things
My dad has the German version of it in his Volkswagen

One day I'm driving his car and a song I like comes on the radio, so I slap the back of the steering wheel to crank the radio...all it did was crank the engine !
