I have a 2011 Ram 1500 and the remote features (unlock/lock/remote start/panic) on my keys have stopped working. I can still turn the truck on with my key. In the past I've had issues with the buttons in my key losing adhesive and sliding out of place. This however is not my current issue. I've ensured that the buttons are where they should be , the key battery is good , I've tried my spare key with no success , and I've cleaned the key and buttons thoroughly but with no success in resolving my issue. Yesterday I replaced the IOD (ignition off draw) fuse and my key worked from yesterday up until today. It's not clear to me why the IOD fuse would have made a difference because the fuse controls my radio , memory, and other components but my only issue is with the key. If I remove the fuse none of these components work at all. If anyone can advise me on how to solve this issue with my key it would be much appreciated, thanks!
