Remote Start Issue

My remote start initiated on it's own, twice in the last 2 days, any thoughts on why this is happening? I did get a new key a few weeks ago, but it worked fine.

I do this all the time Lol. If this is not the case the key has a issues was it a cheapo ebay key or oem? One of my eBay spare keys if I hit lock the wrong way it will start.

Where did you get the new key from? Like mentioned previously, cheap aftermarket keys have been known to have problems. If the key was in your pocket its possible the button got hit by mistake. I keep my keys on a carabiner clip hanging from my belt loop because of that reason

It actually happened this morning with my key hanging on a hook, untouched, I went to the garage and saw my truck was running. The new key was from a locksmith, it's an OEM key, verified by my local dealership where the truck was being serviced for a non starting/ignition switch problem.
