So ,I've got a 2014 Ram regular cab 4x4 Hemi Sport 75,000 miles, and my remote start has become very intermittant! I've changed batteries in both of my remotes and both of them have the same issue! I've diconnected the battery in the truck thinking it may reboot the ECU but that didnt help! Sometimes it will work and other times it won't! The other day I was able to start the truck from inside the house ( about 30 yards away through walls) and then that night at work across the parking lot (30-40 yards away) it would not start! The lock/unlock works fine ! has full tank of gas, hood is closed and everything seems to be normal . when I get off work at 11 pm and its 10 degrees outside ,it would be nice to use the remote start! Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks!

Is it not trying to remote start? or is it attempting to remote start but locks out?
If it's the later and seems o act up more in the cold the vehicle battery maybe getting weak.

Seems like its not trying to start, I don't see the side markers flash when I hit the button twice.

Open up the Remote, make sure the battery is tightly seated.
Then lift out the printed circuit board & on the back side of it, there are little metal contact discs, clean them off by lightly using an eraser on them, don't rub hard, those discs sometimes come loose on their own.

There are several Youtube videos about remotes not working

I have got the keyless entry remote that has actual push button switches mounted to the circuit board so there are no contacts to clean! I will try starting the truck by using the remote to push the button on the dash to re program the system to see if that helps.
