I connected all of the wires that it said was needed, and I still don't have vents that move, temp control, or ac. What wires need to be connected in a 2005 1500? Just to be sure.

Ok a bit of information is needed because your original post is a bit cryptic.
Did you have moving vents before the install?
What did you install?
Who did the install?
The kit you installed who made it and where did you get it from??
Give us some of the answers and we can help out much better.

Sorry, I figured you needed more information.

Everything works normally, except when the truck is running off of the remote start system.

I installed a Bulldog security remote start system. RS1200B

I did the install myself.

Everything mentions connecting a dark blue wire, and two-pink/yellow wires. I did that, but still don't have ac.

Ok looking at the Bullydog site I would suggest going back and rechecking all of your connections to be sure they are connected to where they are supposed to be. I think you may have one or more of the wires connected either wrong or they may have a loose connection. Lemme know what you find. Ill do a bit more research but right now that is the most logical.

I went back and checked everything. It seems to all be correct. I checked each wire with a light before hand also before connecting anything. Like I said, everything about the system works, except for the ac compressor and moving vents. I'm more worried about the ac for the summer time.

Ok did you contact Bullydog?? It might be something wrong with the main unit or the interface unit they sent you. That is what it sounds like too me.

I doubt it as there is one wire from the unit. It gets connected to the accessory wires.

I wonder if it could be because the key is turned off when you use the remote start function. That might be something to look into.

I would try to download a wiring diagram, when I had my 04 I had a remote start installed and had a similar issue. If I remember correctly the heat and a/c were run off different feeds. I remember it took him all of 10 minutes to fix. I know its no real info but hopefully it will get you in the right direction.

I had/have this problem with my remote start. I was blowing fuses when I was installing and hooking up the a/c-heat wires. I left it for another day since I don't need it for the summer. But I'm a pansy when it comes to the cold weather so I will get back on it and see what I find. It may help with yours.

I will have to dig deeper into the wires, and search some diagrams to figure it out. I must be missing only a single wire, or something.

Perhaps one of the pink/yellows is incorrect. The ignition switch has 3 pink/yellows

That was it! I found another pink/yellow wire. Tied it in, and everything works perfect. Thanks!
