Remote start

I have a 2002, what's the best way to add a remote start on to mine? Don't know much about them but just thought it was a cool idea. It doesn't matter to me if it works from my phone, on the factory remote or a separate remote? I'd like to spend as little as possible on it!

When I was down at BB the installer said allot of people buy the Avatel, not sure of the model # but its inexpensive and very dependable. What will determined the cost to some degree is if you need the imoblizeror not. I was also asked if I had the grey key with the chip inside it. Which I do and apparently this also means the cost goes up. Someone else may have a better idea as why these things matter. I got the Viper and it total cost of $374.

I just ordered the DB ALL Express kit for mine. $90 off ebay with plug and play harness and programed. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. I just put one on the wife's Jeep and it was stupid easy. Plus you use the factory key so you don't have an extra remote.

Interesting product. I see you voided the warranty though by purchasing through eBay, any concerns about that?

Warranty is long gone. The seller I used was doug something. Answered all my questions quickly and was good to deal with.
