Removing nerf bars

Gonna pull off the factory nerf bars tomorrow. I haven't looked much at how they are mounted yet...any time savers or tips I need to know about before I get started?

It's really straight forward. No special tips or tricks on the removal.

if theyve been on for a few years the bolts that mount to the body mounts can be a ***** to get off if using hand tools. so have a pipe

Not hard at all. The brackets need a bit of fiddling around to get the nutserts out of the holes but that's about it.

Give them a good shot of penetrating oil, let it sit for a little bit and go at it.

Done... Looks so much cleaner IMO.
