Replaced hood emblems

My dealer wanted $43.50 per for these, was willing to discount to $37.00 each if I wanted them. I already have them on their way from somewhere else.

They look better than the chrome, maybe body color would be better and would hide them better, since they are the only black trim pieces.

I'm waiting to see a full pic from the sides. As of right now, personally I think the chrome looks better.

I followed the instructions DAVECS1 gave and was able to get the hood emblems off no problem.

That should help a lot.
It is a shame they don't offer a painted grill to go along with the painted bumpers on the Limited. I wonder if an unpainted grill and brow from the Big Horn Sport could be ordered and painted for the Limited, and would it fit in the same bolt and clip slots without mods.

I have looked into the sport grill. There are 6 pieces, and at dealer cost they come to 2300. The kicker is the headlights are different and the are 900 a piece.

That sounds like more price gouging on the '19's. I bought an unpainted grill shell and it came with the honeycomb insert from Moparonlineparts for $169 plus shipping. I know the lights are expensive, but that is still a lot for the grill pieces.

No, my '16. Should have put that in my post.
I looked at moparonlineparts site for the '19's. They don't appear to have a section for grills yet.

I am in good with my dealer so i looked up the parts myself on their computer. The 2019 grill consists of many more pieces. The sheep assembly has the shudders in it and I don't think it is conventional paint

The Unibrow doesn't help with anybody swapping for the painted look, 3 extra pieces of trim to buy. It is a useless design element that ruins the front of these trucks.

Op I also went with the black hood emblems and have removed the “ Ram “ from the sides. I just can’t do the black wheel thing though.

The seller (Avondale) on eBay ships fast and arrived in a few days.

Whoever at Ram thought these hood badges look good bettter get some new glasses! They are a cheap quality plastic and look very aftermarket. Too bad they can't be permanently removed without major body work.
