On my 16 4x4 quad cab Laramie, I did 5100s in the rear and fully loaded 6112s in the front. Rides great. Wife even commented on how nice it rode after installation and that's a miracle in my world.

No kyb, no bills, no rancho, no most good after market shocks. Smooth ride shocks are oem when new, or monroes or similar. New monroes I think they went firmer but check their lineups, maybe they have smooth ride. The reason all good aftermarket shocks are firm is because that is what most people want, they are very responsive and makes trucks drive like trucks. If you want it to drive like a Cadillac, buy Cadillac shocks. The other issue with smooth ride shocks is gonna be lifespan, lots of travel on gushy inerds, they are like 25k mile shocks.

I would buy factory Mopar if you like your current truck's ride. Mine have 175k and they're still good! I have one in the rear which is *beginning* to leak lately...so I'll be replacing mine soon. I'm just going to go factory OEM again. Our Jeep has almost 240k and the original shocks are still good too! Go by shock condition, not by age/miles. There's some videos out there which some OEM shocks with 100k plus miles were as good or better than some new shocks. As measured on a shock dyno.

Or else the Bilsteins.

That or a couple crowfoot wrenches off amazon is a cheaper and slightly more frustrating way of doing things, lol
