Both of my doors are rusted apart as well as my front fenders. I have located replacements on LMC Truck. The doors are complete shells. I'm wondering if anyone here has used them & how good the steel is that they use. Actually, I was shocked to find that they made them at all as in the past, they carried mostly Ford & GM stuff. They now have a complete catalog for older Dodge truck parts.

I can't speak to the quality of those parts as I've never done business with that company, but I can tell you that in the San Fernando Valley, namely Sun Valley and Sunland communities of Los Angeles, there are junk yards that specialize in pick up trucks. I purchased a new bed, hood, and right fender for my truck from one of them back in 2013 after it was rear ended while parked late one night. They would be original parts guaranteed to fit. It's at least worth considering.

Thank you for responding. Most junk yards around me in the northeast have closed. Any parts for a tuck over 20 years old are usually rusted or bent beyond use. I think I will give the repops from LMC a try.

The trucks in southern California junk yards are rust free, and the yard that sold my parts to me already had them removed from the vehicles. The beds were stored in large racks, the fenders and hoods were all lined up leaning against each other, and so were the doors. You'd likely find similar operations in other southwestern states as well. If so, you'd pay for the parts and shipping just as you would with LMC. If you do go with LMC, please let us all know what you think of the fit and finish once you get them installed. It'd be nice to know if they're a good substitute for original parts.
