I currently have 305/55/20's and with around 23k miles on the tires they need to be replaced in the next 6 month or so. I have been searching the forum for options and ran across several.

I have a MOPAR leveling kit up front and I will attach a pic of the rims I have to help out. I am running the Gear Alloy Doublepumps 713MB with the Nitto's currently. I have the 5 lug and don't know the spacing or offset.

I am wondering what different options I can run in tire size. I know with the level kit that I can go to 35's but I like the way the truck looks now and I am wanting to try something other than Nitto's due to the wear on the current ones. I am really leaning towards the General Grabber AT2's.

So with no rubbing or other issues what all sizes or brand do you all recommend?

I've always been able to easily get 60k miles out of BFG AT KO's. My current set on a Wrangler JKU appear to have about half of their tread left at 45k miles.

what model nitto do you have?? you should easily get double what youve got now before theyd need replacing... unless youre doing burn outs daily or something lol

Toyo ATII's . . . Luv mine so far . . . I looked at your wheels before I bought mine . . . The 5-3/8" backspacing scared me a little with the 35" x 12.50" tires . . . the inside of the tire was going to be too close to the suspension, so I went with 5" backspacing . . . 295/60's should work fine though

I have the Nitto Trail's M/T's 305/55/20's but I have rotated them very regularly with every oil change but I will say instead of weight balancing, the dealership had put dynabeads in so I think that may have lead to some quicker wear? I called a few places to see if they could remove the beads and balance with inside the rim weights and the price was ridiculous.

Speaking of mounting & balancing, it has been awhile since I have had anything other than stock, is it customary these days for businesses to say they are not responsible for your damage to your rims while they are messing with your tires? I actually laughed at the guy when he said it because I thought he was ******* with me.?? Is this the norm now?

NO! That's not normal. If a shop tells you that, it must be because they have screwed up several sets of wheels already.

I was thinking the same thing, I had never heard that before ever. I don't see how you can be any kind of tire or rim shop but post a disclaimer that *THEY are not responsible for damage done while rotating tires or putting new tires on rims.

On a side note with my 2 inch level up front, the price difference for 305/50/20's vice 305/55/20's is quite a bit, all 4 tires added up would almost cover mounting and balancing of the tires. Any thoughts folks? Would the 32's make it look like I have too much room in my fender wells?
