I need to replace the Turbo and Turbo Actuator in my 2013 Ram 2500 Laramie 6.7 Diesel. What is a good place to get reman? Dodge wants $8,200. Also how long should it take me to do it myself?

There have been recent discussions about replacing the turbo and actuator on the Cummins forum, here is a thread: https://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/2013-general-discussion/2490761-turbo-actuator-failure.html
Beware, while there is a ton of good information over there, the search feature is horrible and each thread seems to get invaded by ridiculous arguments, you have to filter through the arguments to get the information.

I've bookmarked this site in case I ever get a turbo failure.

This is a replacement turbo/actuator that is favored on the Cummins forum

As far as how long it takes to replace, that seems to be dependent on one's mechanical skills and work area.

Everyone has different options on how long it will take and as mentioned above it depends on how familiar with the engine you are. Turbos aren't too difficult but just depends on if you're new to it or not.

As far as a replacement goes the best aftermarket 100% drop in replacement you can buy is a Fleece cheetah. It is also a great upgrade. https://fleeceperformance.com/dodge...63mm-fmw-holset-vgt-cheetah-turbocharger.html
