Retrofit ideas

I'm going to be doing a retrofit this winter and I'm looking for ideas for color schemes. I originally was just going to do all black but would like to see anyone with a blue truck that has color matched headlights. Let's see what ya got.

Mine will be black and blue too, not sure on exact scheme yet, still debating what set of lights i want to do.

I'll say though......the fun part with blue? Dark blue......and black......hard to "see" a lot of difference there. It can look killer though!

I did up this set this week.......and of course.......my first 2 tone set was VERY close to these. I got nostalgic and almost grabbed a set of quads to start working up ...... LOL

That looks killer! I see that the morimoto h1 works great in the quads but what shroud do you recommend?

Depends on how much cutting you want to do. Mini Gatlings fit with minimal cutting......all others need cutting.

I'm pretty sure I read in a thread somewhere that they use a product called 'liquid mask', it's a brush on masking tape.

We have used that in the past, depends on the build. Some we do. Others, just some standard 3M tape

Jeremy.. orange or green 3M right? Not the blue painters mask tape you get at Home Depot or Lowes. That's my experience with painting motorcycles anyway.

its not Home Depot stuff.......not sure the exact stuff....my painter does all of that - I just....well, let him LOL

The beauty of having a full time painter on staff.......let him work!
