Trying to fix my reverse/back up lights on my 19 Ram 1500 Warlock. Bulb was burnt. Replaced that. Still not working. Is there a fuse ? If so what is the location inside the fuse box? What number is it and what is it called ? I’ve looked at the list inside the cover. For the life of me I can’t find it. Please help.

Is the other one working? (I would recommend replacing in pairs especially halogen bulbs)

Is the connector fully seated on the back of the tails?

I know I am not getting power because the light bar on the back is not lighting up when the truck is in reverse.

And I'm guessing you drew straight from the back up wiring to that light bar, no relay?

Yeah, hunt down the fuse box (protip, the call it a central distribution center or something stupid like that now) and check the fuse

Yes. Drew power directly, never had an issue. Need to know what port the fuse is in and what it is called. I see nothing for back up/reverse lights. Thank you.

Try this on the fuse box by the battery - there are none for reverse lights specifically that I can see but there is a trailer backup light fuse or two (left and right) so maybe check those

Have you disconnected the light bar in the back to see if the tails operate normally and reverse lights up? (taking the light bar out of the equation)

Take light bar out and see if works. Back up lights newer Ram allegedly on circuit board TIPM

I think I found the right ones. Will
wait for tonight for a visual check. The back up bulb out message no longer comes on. Was told the fuses were 20 amp. Looked at them. None seemed blown. Darn small though. Changed them. About the light bar, first thing I did.

That's what I am thinking the light bar is interfering and the BCM is shutting the circuit down -

May also have to change reverse and tail lamp bulbs to LED in AlfaOBD, if the circuit is seeing too much resistance with the light bar installed you may have to change settings to LED -

Ended up being the fuses for the trailer back up lights. Everything works as it should. I wonder what caused the fuses to blow. Where do I get these mini ones? Or whatever these are called, try to buy at Wally World but theirs weren’t mini enough. Thank you for your help. Nice to see there still are good people out there. Take care.

Yeah the 19's use like 3 diff fuses, 2 diff mini's and cartridge fuses. I ordered a mixed set off of Amazon, and keep in truck as the mini atr's are hard to find. U replace fuses on TIPM or under dash?

Wire the light bar into the trailer reverse plug instead of the truck reverse lights. Then you won’t be interfering with the canbus, the way you have it right now your drawing significantly more power then the truck thinks it should which may be what blew the fuse in some combination.

If a fuse blew my first suspicion would be the light bar. Take a close look at where it's tapped into the reverse lights and make sure there isn't a bare wire that is shorting out. As also mentioned the bar may be drawing too much power...but if it's the typical LED style I would not expect that.

It doesn’t need to be drawing a lot of power to cause issues, just more then the truck thinks it should. And the truck thinks you only have 2 small reverse bulbs.
