Am new in the forum but am a frequent reader of the comments which I believe I can get more guidance and advice by becoming a member of the forum. My 04 Ram 2500, do not now have reverse. and my second vehicle a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo, cranks but no start. I disconnect the Crank Position Sensor for about half hour then reconnect and it starts, but I must do this for it to start. I have taken down the Valve body on the Ram and removed the Solenoid Pack and will remove the Shift Solenoid to see possible causes. However I found no damage on the Solenoid Block nor on the Valve Body. Am at a lost as to what to do. I want my vehicles to work properly. I seek help and suggestions.
