Before I get slaughtered, I've searched several times and not finding my answer in the Forums.

I've got a 2010 SLT Crew/HEMI/ 4X4. I'm wanting to get rims and tires. Might level the truck, but no lifting for now. I'm wanting to stay with 20's, but curious what you guys thought about rubber? I'm wanting to fill the fenders more than stock, but not wanting to have rubbing issues. Also curious what tires you guys are thinking. I do deer hunt every fall, but I'm also driving my a$$ off right now for school ( 4500 miles in the past 6 weeks, 12 more weeks of travel). So looking for something that won't absolutely kill mileage, but still handle itself in the country.

I'll be posting pics shortly, I'm getting my headlights from RetroShop installed friday...

I really appreciate all the info you guys have posted over the months since I've joined. Definitely liking the looks of several trucks on here.... Thanks in advance for any/all help!!

no getting slaughtered here man. I'm not exactly sure what the limit is on width before you get rubbing, but i'm pretty sure that if you don't go wider than a 285 tire you will be safe. The stock tire as you know is 275/60/20. You could go to a 275/65/20 which will be a taller tire to fill the wheel well a little more.

If you want to go to a wider tire you could possibly fit a 305 with a 1/4" spacer.

those are pretty cool looking wheels, looks like that are the same if not close to the same backspacing as the stock 20's

oh and Jeremy's lights are awesome....definitely post pics when you get them installed

Thanks for the help! I'm hoping to have the lights installed friday night. I'm headed from Tulsa to Detroit on Sunday and plan on stopping by Jeremy's to let him take a few pics with them installed. I'm probably going to run these stock michelins for another 5 weeks of highway time and then swap on those rims with 285/65/20's. I just hate to put on brand new rims and tires and immediately put on a couple thousand highway miles. Thanks again for the help/info, I've been searching for a couple of weeks now in width/height numbers...

When I first got my truck (before the lift), I ran 275/65-20 nitto terra grapplers with a daystar leveling kit 2.5" front, 1.5" rear. I really liked them and fit great
