I was looking to get more aggressive tires and new rims and was wondering what's the best size to go with without lifting my truck, thanks

Well, a lot of 1500 owners use Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks, raise the front end about 2 - 2.5" and go to 33's or 35's. The Bilsteins are a lot cheaper than going with a lift and you can get a nice aggressive tire on the vehicle by using them.

I'm going to do the same setup in the near future and I'm gonna run the Toyo AT2 295 60 20 probably with just stock rims for now. I believe you can fit a 35 12.50 with a 1/4 inch spacer in the front with just a level. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

When i did this research last year, the answer was yes. I stuck with stock size though flirted with 295/55/20. Didnt do it because the tire i wanted didnt have that size yet.

I just did a set of 20x9 with a -12 offset and 305/55 20 tires. Had no rub with stock height and think I could've just run it like that. But, I then did a sensor rod replace, (air suspension from the factory), to raise the front 2 inches, (semi-level). No issues at all so far.
