I can't speak for those hoods myself, but I know in the past the ones for the Charger/Magnum/300C from RkSport have had bad fitment issues that have required more cost and time to correct than any of the other hoods out there.

They look good. It would be nice if the fit like factory.

I am considering this hood as well. It looks more factory even with the scoop. But I have yet to find much info on fitment for the ram:

I had one on my old tundra and it fit well. I had to do some minor adjusting, but nothing terrible.

Not sure what fits for the rams and these hoods, but I had an airaid on the tundra, which worked with the induction of the hood.

Is the RKSport hood fiberglass? If so it will weigh a ton...

VIS-Racing-09DGRAM2DSRT-010C is a carbon fiber hood...and a much better product.

The idea of piping air through a hood, which I guarantee is EXTREMELY restricted, and them back through a CAI is silly.

Yeah, it's not a big deal

Don't get me wrong, a hood intake is a FANTASTIC improvement over the normal intake method, but only if you pipe it straight into the motor, like with a Vararam. But good luck finding a hood like that.

I've been curious about this too. Do you need a hood scoop with the Veraram intake? It is on my short list of upgrades, but if I need to pair it with a scoop, it might have to wait a bit longer... also, if the general idea is that this hood isn't that great, what IS a great scooped hood??

No, you don't need a hood scoop. It would just work better with one

I don't think the veraram works with anything but an oem hood

This is from vararam's website-
• The system uses the OEM hood, R/T and or aftermarket hoods are not required. The system draws air from the high pressure zone between the upper core support and the underside of the hood.
