Still happy with the roadwires? Considering getting my seats done and the install uses the. Not sure about the logo though, I would not want that.

Thank you, I need to "Bake" the interior to get some wrinkles out but everytime I get in it now I feel like it's a new truck. Scared for the 120+ degree summers here tho

The wrinkles wont come out with the so called "baking" the shop who installed it needs to steam out those wrinkles. A good shop will always to this with every leather interior. Its a nice leather kit but I would take it back to have it all steamed smooth.

Not being a Debbie downer, but you can get those same leather covers with perforations and stitching from Katzkin for $700. Without a logo. I was quoted $309 to install them.

That's the same price as the roadwires, essentially. The roadwires I saw at the installer didn't have a logo, not sure why the OP's do, but I am going to double check before ordering if I go with the roadwires :). Katskinz online website quotes around $1700, but I'm sure local shops undercut that. Roadwire web site is the same way listing the retail price with install around $1700 as well while locally I was quoted aprox $1100 installed with mil discount.

I don't know anything about Katskinz, but have read comments in various threads about their quality not being great. And the installer mentioned they don't like to use them due to some fitment problems they've seen in the past. Could just be sales-speak though, don't know. But they seem to be the two major players in aftermarket leather.

Clazzio's (actual seat covers instead of replacement leather) are where you see the cost break. Less than $500 (with mil/vet discount), but still $250-300 to install unless you do it yourself. But even installed they are a few hundred less than Roadwires or Katskinz. Do it yourself and you save even more. I just don't have the hand strength anymore due to a wrist injury so don't know if I would be able to manage installing covers.

Edit - I decided to check on the Katskinz too, because I do see a lot of people recommending them as well - local installer quoted me $1699 installed, which is quite a bit more than the Roadwires I looked at from a different installer. Prices might vary by region a bit, but seems like they are quoting pretty close to the Katskinz retail pricing. Seemed like a nice guy though - prefers Katskinz over Roadwires, much like the Roadwires shop prefers RW over Katskinz lol.

So essentially it's looking like...

Clazzio covers - $490 + $300 so roughly $800 installed.
Roadwires - $1199 minus $100 mil discount so roughly $1100 installed.
Katzskinz - $1699 installed.

I got a quote from a seller on ebay for $700 for the leather seat covers, and $300 from a local independent shop to install them. They weren’t a katzkin dealer.

yeah I looked and saw a few sets out there, ranging from 599 and up actually. I called two more shops so in addition to the one I talked to yesterday - all three quoted me Katzkin's installed for $1699. Might be a price lock deal from the vendor, not sure. The ebay ones certainly are a better price, assuming the are legit Katzkin leather. I just would not feel right about taking some ebay katzkin's to a shop undercutting them, would probably get a crappy install job lol.

Anyway, decided to just stick with what I looked at initially - the Roadwires, with the options wound up being $1200 after picking two tone, perforated, and contrast stitch, installed. I went with Black outer/Grey inner, opposite of what most are choosing from this other thread (https://www.ramforum.com/threads/seat-covers.126018/), just looks a bit sportier to me.

Nice I would also pass on there logo.

yeah no logo :). Actually the guy was surprised when I mentioned it, he said they never come with the logo. So not sure if those pictured earlier were a promo or demo deal or something...

Same here

Got a quote Fromm a local shop just on install roughly $300. Plenty of Katskin sets on eBay ranking from $550-700 depending on what you want.

Waiting on another 15-20% off eBay code to pop up to pull the trigger lol

This guy is off eBay, and the cheapest you will get. $700 shipped and he will send you pics and give you a lot of options. I highly reccomend him.

Was quoted 500 for install.

That's a crazy price for Katskinz. My Ram dealer quote wasn't even that high. I ended up going straight to my local authorized Katzkin dealer/installer and had mine done for $960 out the door on my Mega cab. Leather is top notch, very happy with them.
My only complaint about the Katzkins/Ram relationship is to get a official Ram logo embroidered in the seats you have to purchase through a Ram dealer. Wasn't worth the extra $300-$400 premium the dealer wanted (who was just going to farm out the work to the same installer/dealer I used).

Yep all three basically just quoted the Kaskinz website price apparently, and that was without ram logo. Can only get RAM logo via dealer order. Other options including buying off ebay and either installing myself or having independent shop install them - got quoted $300 for the install so right at a grand depending on how good an eBay deal one got. Still, kinda leary of eBay leather, tbh - legitimacy, any issues down the road, warranty, etc.

Anyway, I went with the shop that does the local Ram dealer installs. They had just done a RAM Katzkins job with the logo when I was there - apparently RAM forces them to use Katskinz on dealer installs as they obviously get a huge price break on the logo kits. I'll admit, the logo looked cool, but not $400 more cool lol. Regardless, I think my Roadwires leather looked better that the Katskinz job, but it's all personal preference I suppose... ;)

Anyway these were $1199 including the two color option, perforated leather, contrast stiching, and heated seats upgrades.
