So after having for over a year in the garage I finally installed my rocker LEDs. These due running light (constant on), sequential turn signal, and puddle lamp.
I ran wires down the fenders from the engine bay and used the trailer light fuse in the fuse panel to install a "double" tap fuse to the trailer park/running, and trailer Left and right signal fuses. I ran a wire inside and used one of the side tap wire pinchers to grab power from the dome light as it is accessible thru the panel in the drivers side of the dash.
Here are the results:
Also for those with the express models that do not have cab lights in the foot wells. Buy the light model from ram ($26 for 2). On the drivers side wire is taped back to harness, clearly easy to see and there is a mount point on the bottom of the dash, 2 minute job. The passenger side, pop the 2 outer plastic rivets on the fiber panel under the dash. Wire will be laying on top of it. Use razor knife to open hole in recess already in fiber panel for light and a push pin plastic rivet. 5 Minute job. I used 1/4in push/screw type plastic rivets I picked up in Lowes auto hardware bins for a couple of dollars. This was a piece of cake to do and adds so much to the truck, particularly at night. I should have done them nearly 2 years ago when I bought the truck........
