Hi everyone, I’m going to be installing a 3 gang rocker switch on my 2018 Ram 1500. I’m wondering if anyone else has this or one similar, and where the best place to mount it is. I’m thinking of putting it just left of the steering column. It will be used to operate my flood lights, fog lights and lights in my headache rack. Thanks in advance.

There is empty space behind this plate. You can also pop the plate out and replace later if you want.

Looks like I’ve got one. As long as there isn’t a fuse panel behind it, this is where I’m going to try and put it. Thanks for the quick reply!

It's a 1500. It's your transmission neutral release. Should be enough room.

15% improvement is significant in my opinion. I hadn't heard about this though, thanks for posting!

It is the neutral release and very tight on the 4th gens to mount a switch there. It needs to be a shallow switch on the back side where the connections go. I have one rocker switch there and had to fashion a spacer for it to not pop out.
