Can anyone confirm is those 6x9 Rockford Fosgate Punch series speakers (PN#: P1462) fit in an Express crew cab with the 6 speaker 5.0 head unit? 2015 truck. They worked in a 2013 SLT 6 speaker with 8.4a unit and no woofer.

Crutchfield says they won't fit on the front doors because they're too deep. I guess they changed something in the door?

P1462 is a 4x6. The p1692 is a 6x9. They will fit with some convincing. I didnt have to cut anything but they were a squeeze in there and the screws were a pain to get in there but I was able to force them in.

You will need to really work the screws on there, you best off with a small spacer, but you can make them fit! If you were in Tampa Id give you the set I took out last month.

Man...are we sure these can fit into the front doors on a 2015? I'm in the middle of the install...rain delayed...but I don't see how those are going to fit. Even if I can get a screw in, I won't be able to get ALL of the screws in. I wonder if they changed anything from 2013/2014 to 2015?

On the rear doors, the kickers worked...not all the mounting holes line up though. I was able to get 2 screws in opposing corners. They're tight...I'll probably be ok without the other 2 screws right?

Just frustrating when Crutchfield says they'll fit.

I just put in some Hifonics 6x9's in front and rear doors. I used 6mm spacers in the front and rear doors because the metal basket/frame of the speakers are larger around than the OEM 6x9's.

I started the screws one at a time to make sure they were started in the holes and then tightened them down cross wise from each other until they're flush.
