Room in the Garage for a TRX??

I drive a Power Wagon and love the power and the off road capabilities my truck has, but Dang, the 2021 TRX is so sweet. And power! Oh yeah lots of it. 702HP!! It has me thinking a new truck is in my near future.

There is a lot to like no doubt....If it debuts this fall, I have a hunch by next fall you will be able to find low mileage examples at a better price. You know there will be plenty of "gotta have it" types who realize 6 month in that they don't really need to have it...

Just watched the launch video (had to fast forward...the guy talks too much). Very cool, over the top, truck. 100% aimed at the Raptor market. Going to be very expensive, and there will be some special edition models. I'll stick with my Rebel.

My truck msrp for 66k and I got it for 62k. I’m sure the 72k base price does not have cloth seats. Most likely it will be well equipped. Just like the base Raptor

That's gonna be one expensive truck. (I built one on the Ram website for over 86k. lol)
Especially when the dealerships add their ADM on them. Too much money.

The dodge boys called The Ram boys saying they’ve got a bunch of Hellcat engines they can’t sell. Said we could have them cheap if we put them in a 1500. Dodge said we couldn’t do it...

Ram called back saying ship them all, and we’re going to give it a cool name.

Dodge is pissed off now as they missed the opportunity with the Durango.

I personally think the TRX is the reason that the Durango Hellcat will be a one year only model. Ram will build TRXs until the real dinosaurs dry up.

For some, that room in the garage will be made. Dealer markup will suck of course, but the MSRP of right at $71k wasn't jaw dropping. Of course we're gonna want the goods with it too, right? Target price of about $85k or so would be more like it, then add dealer markup to that. Some dealers may make this truck harder to own.

There have been some trucks selling for over $100K before. As for the TRX, the early adopters might pay $100K for the first ones, but the frenzy will cool off within months. The ADMs will fall off & you could get one for sticker price. As if those $85K prices will feel any better.

It's 4X4 as well.
