There is a screw in the door that tightens it down. Open the door, remove screw, then tighten or slide the plastic piece that it screws into on the underside of the molding and re-screw down. I had to tighten mine on my 2018 this last weeked.

I put those on when I bought my new 14 sport, just stick them on , and the same for the door pillars, I am old guy and like bight shiny stuff. They sold it to me at cost , part of the deal.

The OEM Mopar pieces are NOT "stick on" like the aftermarket stuff... they are direct swap of the rubber/black trim. They are found on the Laramie Limited Ram trucks...

I have a 18 Ram 3500 Crew cab and both of my front doors are affected when in the sun. Live with it. Chrysler won't do anything for you.
My dealership is replacing mine under warranty...

The mMy 2014 2500 Laramie MegaCAb has been doing this for a long time and I just push it back down. Metal fingers have gotten weak over time and the only fix is replacement or as you say 3M double sided tape. I see from your photo you have solved a problem I've been having and will fix. My truck has a black plastic tape covering the center door posts that is coming off. This bothers me more than the molding and will be removed thanks to your photo. You showed m it's painted underneath. Be glad you don't have a sunroof that has warped and is not covered by the forever warranty. I expect it to leak someday and I will have to replace it. The sun in Texas is unforgiving and plastic is short lived.
