Running board replacements

[2012 BlacK LL]

I have 2012 Laramie limited crew cab and 5.7 bed. My running boards are can length factory aluminized and corroding. Looks bad.

I’d like use oem stainless steel ram replacements but Can’t find them anywhere.

Can i use the 2014+ version stainless running boards and just modify them for my mount locations. I think the hardware and mounting points changed in 2014.

Or can someone tell me where I can buy oem stainless steel for a 2012???

I would think the only changes from 2012 to 2018 would be due to the length of the can and/or bed but mainly the cab. But don’t take that as even close to a final answer. As for finding them check Craigslist or other forums or possibly eBay but they would most likely be used. Otherwise, do a search for factory parts at employee discounts and Benny should be able to help you save a little straight from Mopar.

The bolt holes in the body are different sizes, I know that for sure. If I remember correctly, the mount locations are the same.
