Thanks

I think the standard for most of the guys on this forum is AMP

Too bad you are so far, I have a brand new set I purchased about 3 years ago. Never even opened the box. Plug n play option too.
Truck had step bars and just never bothered to mount them.

AMP Research, without a doubt. Bestop makes a copy but the motors are junk. I'd stay away from them.

Amp Research. My truck was completely submerged under water ( up to the intake ) for a few hours, including the AMP steps, and after it was all said and done they still work with zero issues. More importantly, i've taken them in deep deep sand, thick nasty mud, and large puddles of water. The AMP steps never skip a beat. Hands down the best steps you can own.

Most definately AMP. I have installed 4 sets. One on my 1500 and then a set on my 2500 and 2 Jeep wranglers. All 4 have worked flawlessly. Couldn’t recommend them more

My wife made me put the Amp steps on mine 2 days after I bought the truck and I’m damn glad she did, these are the best steps I have ever had. When you open the door they go down lower than a fixed step then retract up under for clearance. The step is wide and very sturdy, they say it supports 600lbs per side. I have had mine a year without one single issue.

They are expensive but don’t let that hinder your decision, you use these steps every single time you drive it so it’s well worth it.

I’ll never own another truck without the Amp steps.....made in USA :patriot:

Have the amp steps on my rebel. Love them. What’s even better is how well they stand behind their product. I had a faulty module and tech support was awesome to help troubleshoot and isolate the problem. Once we did they sent a new one out.

Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase them on other vehicles. Plus I really like how they are gone when driving but there for kids and wife when needed. Really clean look.

I read something about the 1500's with Air Suspension requiring some modifications. Does anyone know what's involved here?

I’m have the air suspension on my rebel. No modification. Just order the right kit. I don’t recall part number. Verify with AMP that you get the one for air suspension and it should be all good. Or at least it was on my 2016.
