I have a 2007 5.7 Hemi 1500 and have been running the SuperChips tuner for about a year now. By the seat of my pants it has made a minor difference in towing my trailer when I hit some big hills. I am thinking of adding a Gibson exhaust and they claim to add another 18 foot pounds of torque between 1600-3200 RPM.

Would I be getting that amount in addition to whatever I gained running the SuperChips towing tune?

I'm a bit tired of not being able to maintain anywhere close to the speed limit when I hit the mountains around here. My alternative is to buy a 2500 or 3500 diesel, which are both overkill for what I'm currently pulling.

Thing with bolt-ons, you have to take what the manufacturer claims with a grain of salt. Many different things will work together well, but you can't just stack up or add up what each one claims or everyone with a 3rd gen would be up over 400hp with just a CAI, catback and a tune lol. The exhaust certainly wont' hurt, just be prepared for the drone if you haven't disabled MDS. One thing that would definitely help is a gear change. You're probably running 3.92's, 4.56's would make a noticeable difference, downside being highway mileage and installation cost, especially if you have 4wd.
