put the filter wrap / pre-filter on and drove truck. Should have not driven it without wrap on it first cuz now it feels like it doesnt pull as hard. Probably my feeble mind playing tricks on me but i do know the last wrap i ran on a 7.3 Powerstroke made it not pull as much air too. So it may be real. I dunno. I screwed myself. Now i have to do more mods to get the "loss" of acceleration back............could be temperature, etc. Oh well. If yall get a wrap and intake dont drive it without it on filter first. lol

The wrap is there for added protection, but it does block the airflow a little.. We sell alot of them to guys that take their trucks offroad often. Just throw it on before hitting the mud, and it gives an extra level of protection.

I work in South Texas and its really dusty down there so I am definitely going to keep it on for added protection. Thanks.

It will definately help prolong the life of your filter if you run it all the time. I like your thinking though of just adding more mods to make up for the wrap...haha.
