Any pros and cons for each? Besides having the extra leg room by choosing the shift on the fly style of 4x4 what else am i possobly gaining with this tech? Shifter style 4x4 is what i am used to, so kind of leaning that way, but we do plan to use all six seats and don't know if having the shifter get kicked out of 4 High would be any fun :p

If it were me, I'd be more concerned with which transfer case, rather than which shifter.
Typically, the 44-44 case will have the dial shifter, and the 44-45 will have the floor shifter. However, the 44-45 can be had with the dial shifter.

The 44-44 case (the one with the "auto" feature) , unless modified, does NOT fully "lock" the front and rear drive shafts together, even when "4 lock" is selected. It uses a clutch and ball ramp to apply torque to the front drive shaft in all modes.

The 44-45 case (without the "auto" feature), is a traditional "part time" case, and locks the drive shafts together in both 4hi and 4lo.

Also worth noting, the 44-45, even with the floor mounted shifter CAN be shifted into and out of 4hi "on the fly". If memory serves, the manual wording is something like "Can be shfited into 4hi at any legal speed up to 55MPH." or something to that effect.

Just wondering what this is?

It interfaces with the T-Case control module to override our crummy programming. The same BW T-Case on the Fords will actually lock in 4-High/Low, but FCA saw fit to basically make them the same as 4-Auto. @Brandon-w provides the harness, connections, and a switch to allow you to override this actually lock it up in 4-High. Works beautifully.

Where does someone find out which transfer case their truck comes with. Mines a '18 2500 Tradesman with the off road package. Thanks y'all
