I have some scratches in the windshield, you can not feel them and my finger nail dies not get caught on them I tried compound to get them out no luck. Anybody have any ideas

They do make a glass scratch compound that works but I have not used it in years. Regular rubbing compound would only make the scratches worse I would think.
