I have been so pleased with my '19 Laramie. I've had none of the problems others have encountered. My first Ram after 20 years in the same Ford F-250. Then on Monday the 8.4 monitor went white with squiggly colored lines and then totally black. Headed straight to the dealership. Told me they had to try a software update before they could consider replacing it. Ok, I understand. Well, the update fried the system and they actually had to get into the back of the system to turn it off, because it wouldn't shut down and would drain the battery.
So, they ordered a new system. Well, today I noticed the dash was damaged, with the worst part being a cut between the glovebox and faceplate. Called service dept. and they are already saying they couldn't have done it. I am thoroughly disgusted. I can deal with the screen fix, but to have to fight to get my dash fixed is taking a lot of luster off my 6 month old truck.
Just venting, but I work hard to take care of my stuff. Don't expect the dealer to damage a new truck and then deny their responsibility.
