Seafoam Question

Anyone run Seafoam into their intake to clean off pistons and valves? I used to do this with my Vdubs occasionally, so I thought I would see if this is common practice with the RAMs.

I roasted my turbo on my VW HAHAHAHAHAA, i havent done it on my truck yet, i do it roughly at 100k

I watched before and after tests

While is does remove a little carbon from the pistons, it's not enough to bother with it

If you used it in every tank full of fuel it might work better

I ran a small bottle of the Lucas brand and it did seem like the engine was a wee bit more powerful and responsive but only for that tank of gas. Since then the truck runs just like it did prior to adding Lucas.

I use it in everything. Have for many years. Cleaned out a carboned up 5.9 Cummins in my 07. Poured in the tank Fixed a rough idling 5.2 Magnum. Poured in the TB.
All my vehicles, bikes and lawn mowers get it in the gas a couple times a year.

I rescued a Dakota RT off a used car lot a while back. 180K miles. it was amazing what the sea foam did to it. It ran like shyt for about a mile poured black smoke, but then it cleaned up and ran great.

I'm going to run a can through the intake, as soon as my auto parts store gets the can with the Z straw.....run it to 2,000 rpm and spray it in there. another option is to suck it into the brake booster line with the engine running.
Then I'm going to remove my TB and clean it, also pour a car into the tank, maybe two 26 gallons is a lot. Maybe Ill just skip cleaning the TB and get a ported TB...lol
I'm doing this as I bought the truck in Jan and I recently added a catch can. Im going to get it clean and keep it clean. well on the inside of the motor at least.

Half a can in 1st fill. Rest in 2nd fill. Be lots.
I poured a can down the TB. Have engine warmed up to operating temperature. Little bit, keep it running, little bit, etc. Smokes bad, real bad. Just about empty can pour it in and stall the engine. Let sit maybe ten minutes. Fire it up and go for a drive. Run the **** out of it.
It will smoke bad for five miles highway.

did same as you think key is longer you let foam sit without engine run better it works at least in my case
