Bought the duplicolor kit from Advanced auto, cleaned the tips real good, ran a tack cloth over them, did a dusting and 3 coats of the base and 3 coats of clear.

I appreciate the kind words. No repairs, just trying to get of the chrome and couldn't justify paying $200 for the black carven or 180 for the flowmasters when I like the style of the factory tip better. Not bad for $20 and a few hours
