My drivers side mirror is shaking. Just the mirror part and I can’t figure how it happened and what there is to do to fix it. Has anyone ever had this issue? It rattles / shakes when I play music and then when I’m driving it shakes even more to the point where I can’t see anything in my mirror.
I’ll attach a video that I uploaded to YouTube, excuse the taste of music if it’s not your jam but I used to show the rattling. It’s all stock speakers and the passengers side mirror doesn’t rattle at all.

Same here 2015 OEM as well. Thinking about going into the dealership for it since its annoying to see out of the corner of my eye while driving but I also dont want to pay some ridiculous price for an entire mirror. I was debating on going to a junk yard or something to try and find a replacement.

Maybe I can help a bit here.
On a different vehicle I learned that the mirror glass is connected by 2 round plastic spiders that clip to each other. The glass has one bonded to the back of it. The other spider is attached to the swivel mechanism in the body housing. Swivel the mirror adjustments in all directions to wherever you can get the largest gap between the edge of the the glass and housing opening.
Use your fingers or a thick wide plastic pry tool and pry the glass out while pushing in from the opposite side.

Be ready to catch the glass when it pops free!!

Bet you'll find a loose screw or two holding the swivel mechanism.
The glass snaps back into place.

I'm curious to see if this works. If you could post a pic or two that would be amazing!

Well I tried to do what shiva mentioned above but I couldn’t figure it out. I didn’t want to do more damage and break a clip or something that holds the mirror in place. I’m going to do some more investigating though and see if I can figure it out. I’ll let you know if there’s any success or things not to do lol

Mine started to shake worse after I had to replace the mirror........

Been too busy to pop it off and mess with it.

Super annoying though!

Crazy annoying! It doesn’t seem loose or like there’s anything broken behind it but the mirror just continues to rattle. If upgrading to different wasn’t so expensive I’d think about going that route

Well I took my truck into the dealer to get it looked at. They wanted to charge me $135 dollars just to have one of the 4 "techs" standing around playing grab ass to look at it. I told him that seemed a bit ridiculous to have to pay that much just for a diagnosis and he said "well they don't work for free" I let him know how I felt and asked for my keys since I wasn’t going to pay that. As I was walking out he asked me "do you work for free?" took a lot not to not lose it or kick his head off his body. I've had two encounters with the same service guy and he's been a complete d-bag. I understand there is going to be some type of charge to figure out what's going on but $135 seems a bit steep in my opinion for the amount of research to find the issue. I'm not going to pay $135 then what ever the parts and labor are to fix it when I can get a brand new entire mirror for that price if not cheaper from a junk yard or from the vendor on here.
